AI in Education

AI in Education is a new project, launched in 2026. It integrates AI into education and studies how students learn with it. Most assessment looks only at a student's final output; we are building a system that measures a student's growth over time. The first year is dedicated to research.

The project also makes grants to Japanese organizations experimenting with different ways to integrate AI into the learning process.
